Driven by their shared pursuit of excellence and love of music, KALA is setting new standards in the chamber orchestra scene.
motivated
But KALA is far more than just an association of excellent musicians - it is a community of friends who touch the audience with their passion and joy of playing. Every concert is a celebration that is shared with the audience. The programs are extraordinary and varied, with a repertoire that spans different eras, styles and instrumentations. Top-class soloists and conductors are selected with the greatest care in order to share the enthusiasm for making music together.
like-minded
Since its reestablishment in March 2020, KALA has given numerous concerts with renowned artists such as Maximilian Hornung, Sarah Christian and the Goldmund Quartet. Performances have taken the orchestra to important venues such as the Konzerthaus Blaibach and the Mozarteum Salzburg. Landshut offers an inspiring home in the historic Rathausprunksaal. With the artistic direction of Sarah Baubin and the new conductor in residence Carlo Benedetto Cimento, KALA continues its success story - in summer 2025 with the program "La Scuola di Salieri", which will be performed with a large orchestra.
